7 years agoNew Toronto Blue Jays outfielder/designated hitter Curtis Granderson hasn’t quite found his power stroke yet up north, but if Wednesday’s game is any indication, he may be well on his way to doing so. Granderson finished 2-for-4 with a grand slam, three runs scored and two walks in the 15-5 rout of the Kansas City Royals. The slam was only Granderson’s second home run of the season, but he owns a fantastic .318/.412/.545 slash line with two doubles, a triple, nine runs scored and eight RBI. Granderson is likely to move back to the outfield when normal designated hitter Kendrys Morales returns on Friday, creating a logjam with the hot-hitting Teoscar Hernandez and Kevin Pillar, as well as the struggling Randal Grichuk.--John Smith
