Grant Delpit Dealing With Hamstring Injury
3 years agoCleveland Browns safety Grant Delpit has been sidelined by a hamstring injury over the past week and has taken just nine team reps in camp thus far. The former LSU safety was a second-round pick of the Browns in 2020 but he missed his entire rookie season with a ruptured Achilles. The Browns had been hoping he would be a starting safety opposite John Johnson III this year but instead Delpit is finding it difficult to get on the field and his availability for the team's regular-season opener against the Kansas City Chiefs is in question. The safety position in Cleveland has been a tough spot during camp as Ronnie Harrison Jr. and Sheldrick Redwine have both been sidelined by injury, as well.
