Grayson Greiner Suffers Setback During Rehab Assignment
3 years agoDetroit Tigers catcher Grayson Greiner (hamstring) has put his rehab assignment with Triple-A Toledo on hold. Manager A.J. Hinch is not calling it a setback, but the 29-year-old catcher continues to deal with a lingering hamstring issue. He wasn't exactly crushing the ball before landing on the injured list. It sounds like the Tigers are going to be cautious here, so fantasy managers shouldn't expect Greiner back anytime soon. Eric Hasse and Jake Rogers have played well as a catching duo. They could be interesting deep league options until Greiner is cleared to play again.
