Packers Defense Looks Mediocre Against 49ers
6 years agoThe Green Bay Packers defense left a lot to be desired in their Monday night performance against the San Francisco 49ers. That being said, they ultimately got it done when it mattered late in the game. The biggest play of the night was an interception by Kevin Kind late in the fourth quarter that set up the long drive to get Mason Crosby in field goal range. Ha Ha Clinton-Dix was involved again as he forced a fumble. Both Kenny Clark and Clay Matthews had a sack in this game. The 49ers only passed for 245 yards, and if you take out the two catches from Marquise Goodwin that went for 97 yards they were pretty stingy in the air. After a few of the big plays the defense managed to only allow six points in the second half. They will get to rest awhile with a Week 7 bye coming up.
