6 years agoYankees first baseman Greg Bird is not in Saturday's lineup against Boston. The lefty slugger will hit the bench in favor of righty Brandon Drury who was recently activated from the disabled list. Drury will get the start at first base and bat seventh against Chris Sale. This is the not the best matchup for Drury, and he should probably be avoided in any DFS play on Saturday. Even though this might be a routine day off for Bird, he may also miss Sunday's contest against David Price if the Yankees opt for a full-on platoon going forward.--Kev Mahserejian - RotoBaller
