7 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals relief pitcher Greg Holland will "not be used in the ninth inning at this time," according to general manager John Mozeliak. Holland was signed to a one-year, $14 million contract on Opening Day, but he's struggled almost every time he's been on the mound so far. His ERA is at 7.36 and his WHIP sits at 2.32. He'll work in lower-leverage situations for a while with Bud Norris working as the closer. It could be a while until Holland works in the ninth inning again. If you don't have the room to keep him stashed in shallow formats, it's time to move in another direction.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
