5 years agoCarolina Panthers tight end Greg Olsen is coming off two extremely disappointing seasons which were derailed due to foot injuries and he's determined to bounce back strong in 2019. Olsen has made it through the preseason without aggravating his foot and barring injury, he should be in line for a decent 2019 campaign. The Panthers play against the Rams in Week 1 which means Olsen will face one of two Rams safeties Eric Weddle or John Johnson, neither of which are prohibitive to Olsen's fantasy production. There should be a lot of points scored in this game, which means Olsen should see plenty of targets. Olsen has been drafted as the 22nd tight end off the board according to recent NFFC ADP data, mainly due to his age (34) and his recent foot injuries. If you missed out on drafting one of the top tight ends in your fantasy draft, Olsen is a decent streamer for Week 1. If you draft Olsen as your starting tight end you should consider drafting Ian Thomas as well with one of your last picks.--Mike Riggall - RotoBaller
