4 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles wide receiver Greg Ward enjoyed a sharp uptick in fantasy appeal at the conclusion of 2019 due to the widespread injuries that turned him into the team’s top wideout. With Alshon Jeffery (foot), DeSean Jackson (hamstring), and Jalen Reagor (thumb) all sidelined Sunday versus Pittsburgh, Ward returns to WR1 status for the Eagles, even as that makes him more of a WR3/Flex option in season-long formats. Over the past two weeks, Ward has seen a combined 18 targets, which even in the face of a matchup against a stingy Steelers secondary, gives him some DFS appeal. Also standing to benefit is Zach Ertz, who should see an increased role in his own right with Dallas Goedert (ankle) on the mend.--Jesse Borek
