6 years agoPittsburgh Pirates outfielder Gregory Polanco (shoulder) could play in minor league games as early as next week, according to Todd Tomczyk, the team's director of sports medicine. The 27-year-old had his 2018 season cut short due to surgery on his throwing shoulder. Despite playing in just 130 games, he set career highs of 23 HR, 61 BB, a .340 OBP, and a .499 SLG. Coming into the spring, it was unclear how much time Polanco would miss but it seems the right fielder is on the right track. His injury will most likely keep him out the first few weeks of the regular season but with a current ADP of 254, Polanco's 20HR/80RBI potential is tremendous value that is essentially no risk-high reward at that point in drafts.--Steve Janik - RotoBaller
