6 years agoPittsburgh Pirates outfielder Gregory Polanco continued his recent struggles at the plate on Tuesday in an 11-6 loss to the Reds, going 0-for-4 with three strikeouts. It is the sixth time in his last 10 contests that he has struck out multiple times in a game. The 27-year-old, who has struggled mightily against right-handers this season, has a slash line of just .214/.267/.429 with 18 strikeouts over the last 15 games. With 12 extra-base hits (five home runs) and a respectable .303 BABIP on the season, Polanco is worth having in the lineup for fantasy owners -- at least against left-handers at this point.--Daniel Benjamin
