6 years agoOakland Raiders wide receiver Griff Whalen came away with one touchdown in Saturday's preseason loss versus the Rams. Whalen ended with two receptions for 13 yards and one touchdown, on a team-high four targets. Whalen had been working with the first two offensive units this past week at practice and will continue to compete for a roster spot. The in-game success and practice with the top offenses are encouraging signs for Whalen, who also has some potential in their special teams return game.--Tom Vecchio - RotoBaller
