4 years agoLos Angeles Angels right-handed pitcher Griffin Canning (rest) will not start Sunday’s season finale versus the Dodgers as the team is backing off his workload. Canning had arm concerns back in March, but ultimately was able to rehab without needing to undergo surgery. In 11 regular-season starts, Canning compiled a 3.99 ERA. The Angels did not immediately announce who would take his spot for the start, but Dodgers batters figure to get an increase in appeal with whomever steps in.--Jesse Borek
