5 years agoFacing a home run pitcher in a home run park, Texas outfielder Willie Calhoun continued his powerful rookie year, hitting two home runs in a 7-6 Rangers victory on Friday night. Calhoun started the scoring off in the first inning, hitting a two-out solo shot off of Baltimore starter Dylan Bundy. Then with the Rangers down 4-1 in the third inning, Calhoun hit a three-run blast in his next at-bat, tying the game at four. The rookie now has 18 home runs on the year and 13 HR in his 155 plate-appearances since being recalled on July 26.--Nicklaus Gaut - RotoBaller
