Gunnar Henderson Joining Taxi Squad Wednesday

2 years agoBaltimore Orioles shortstop prospect Gunnar Henderson will be flying to Cleveland on Wednesday to join the team's taxi squad, per MASNsports.com's Roch Kubatko. Pitcher DL Hall will also be joining him. Henderson is the team's first-ranked prospect and is the number two prospect in baseball, per MLB Pipeline's prospect rankings. He has shown an exciting combination of power and speed at Triple-A Norfolk this season, slashing .282/.386/.502 with 11 home runs, 41 RBI, and eight stolen bases. It remains to be seen what role Henderson may play with the O's if he does play, so fantasy managers may want to hold off before making a move on him.
