Gunnar Henderson Keeps Rolling At Low-A

3 years agoBaltimore Orioles shortstop prospect Gunnar Henderson went 3-for-5 on Thursday at the Low-A level. He had a single, double, and triple in the game. The breakout prospect now has three multi-hit games through seven June contests. Selected 42nd overall in 2019, the 19-year-old has eight doubles and eight home runs through 27 games. He's been much better than his older opponents at the level and has a 172 wRC+. Henderson has been prone to the strikeout at times. His whiff rate sits at 28% which isn't terrible considering the power he's generated. He's worthy of some dynasty league consideration although you can probably wait a little while before pulling the trigger on him given that he's still flying under the radar.--Marc Hulet - RotoBaller
