Gus Edwards Fails To Reach 100-Yard Mark
6 years agoBaltimore Ravens running back Gus Edwards racked up 82 yards on the ground on 21 carries in Sunday's victory over the Falcons. The unheralded rookie failed to reach the 100-yard mark for the first time in three games. Still, he had a nice game despite not gaining more than nine yards on a single attempt and averaging just 3.9 yards per carry, which marked his lowest-per attempt average this season. It is the 23-year-old second straight game of garnering 20 carries and the third consecutive contest that he tallied at least 17 attempts. Edwards is the Ravens' definitive featured back going forward, and fantasy owners should consider him at least an RB2 for the remainder of the season.
