Gus Edwards Plays Second Fiddle On Sunday
4 years agoBaltimore Ravens running back Gus Edwards finished with 60 yards off 12 carries during the win over the Bengals in Week 17. He also had a catch for 10 yards. Edwards continued to split time with Lamar Jackson and J.K. Dobbins on Sunday. However, it was the rookie who made the biggest impact on the ground by racking up 160 yards and two touchdowns on the afternoon. Although the 25-year-old had arguably the best season of his career, he may have more value in 2021 on a different team, primarily if he isn't involved in a timeshare. Nonetheless, regardless of where he ends up, he is a serviceable fantasy option who will likely retain late-round value in fantasy drafts during the offseason.
