Gus Edwards Rushes For 66 Yards In Relief
5 years agoBaltimore Ravens running back Gus Edwards rushed 12 times for 66 yards in a win over the Browns Sunday. Edwards added one catch for seven yards through the air. Edwards got more usage than expected with Mark Ingram (calf) leaving with an injury in the second half. This win wrapped up the top seed in the AFC so Baltimore has no reason to rush Ingram back next week. Expect Edwards to be the leader of a committee next week with Justice Hill likely getting work as well. Edwards will get the work next week, but faces a tough run defense in the Pittsburgh Steelers who will be playing for their playoff lives.
