Gus Edwards To Miss At Least Four Games
2 years agoThe Baltimore Ravens placed running back Gus Edwards (knee) on the Physically Unable to Perform list on Tuesday, meaning he will miss at least the first four games of the regular season. J.K. Dobbins also tore his ACL last year, but Edwards is behind him in his recovery. With Edwards out at least the first four games, fantasy managers can leave him to the waiver wire to begin the season. The Ravens signed Mike Davis in the offseason to give them insurance for both Edwards and Dobbins, and Davis could be the team's primary ball-carrier in Week 1 against the New York Jets if Dobbins isn't quite yet 100 percent. But make no mistake, Dobbins should be Baltimore's best fantasy back when healthy, making him a low-end RB2 target. The Ravens also have Justice Hill and rookie Tyler Badie in the RB room.
