6 years agoSan Diego Padres infielder Luis Urias (hamstring) was scratched from Tuesday’s spring training contest. Padres manager Andy Green claims the move was precautionary but Urias has a history of hamstring ailments. Touted for his superior plate discipline, Urias is slated to be a table-setter for the Padres while playing shortstop for the Padres in the early-going. He’s expected to platoon with second baseman Ian Kinsler once shortstop prospect Fernando Tatis Jr. debuts.
