4 years agoMinnesota Twins relief pitcher Hansel Robles struggled mightily in Thursday's outing against the Red Sox. Robles entered the game in an attempt to preserve starting pitcher Michael Pineda's seven-inning gem, but the results weren't pretty. He didn't have command of the strike zone, as he hit a batter, walked two, and was charged with three earned runs in 2/3 of an inning of work. Robles had his usual velocity, so this seems like just a bad outing for the veteran hurler, who clearly has the trust of manager Rocco Baldelli, as he currently leads the team in holds. Robles could also be in the mix for saves if Alex Colome falters, so he's certainly one to look at in deeper leagues.--Tim Capurso
