Harold Ramirez Sitting In Game 1
2 years agoTampa Bay Rays outfielder Harold Ramirez is not in the starting lineup for Game 1 of a doubleheader on Tuesday against the Toronto Blue Jays. It's a good time for Ramirez to take a little breather, as he's gone 5-for-31 (.161) with no homers, five RBI, one run scored and eight strikeouts in eight games to begin the final month of the regular season in September. It remains to be seen if he'll return to the lineup for the nightcap. Overall, he's hitting a strong .315/.357/.420 with five home runs, 53 RBI, 40 runs scored and three stolen bases in his 333 at-bats. Randy Arozarena is the designated hitter and is batting cleanup, while Jonathan Aranda is at first base and is hitting third against Blue Jays right-hander Julian Merryweather.
