Harrison Bader Absent From Thursday's Lineup
3 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals outfielder Harrison Bader is not in the starting lineup for Thursday's game against the Milwaukee Brewers, according to MLB.com. Bader is a good bench option in most leagues, as he's put together a productive year at the plate thus far. In 99 games, he's slashed .267/.324/.458 with 15 HRs and eight stolen bases. With Bader on the bench, Dylan Carlson will shift to center, and Jose Rondon will start in right field and bat sixth. In limited action, Rondon has hit .280 with three home runs across 60 games. In 32 plate appearances against lefties this season, he's slashed .407/.500/.815 and is a streaming option with left-hander Brett Anderson on the hill for the Brewers.
