2 years agoNew York Yankees outfielder Harrison Bader (foot) wasn't wearing a walking boot on his right foot on Tuesday. Bader has been out for six weeks while recovering from a season-long bout of plantar fasciitis. He's been on the injured list since July 26 and won't be back until sometime in September. "I definitely think I'll be here the first week or so of September. But I don't want to get ahead of myself and I don't want to get away from what they have (set up for me)," Bader said. Before he was shut down, the 28-year-old was hitting .256/.303/.370 with five home runs, 21 RBI, 35 runs scored and 15 stolen bases in 72 games for the St. Louis Cardinals. The speedster should be an upgrade over Aaron Hicks once he's healthy, and he's a major stolen base asset in fantasy, although it remains to be seen how much he'll run once he's back.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
