2 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals manager Oliver Marmol said that outfielder Harrison Bader (foot) came through his first minor league rehab game on Friday night just OK and had some soreness, which caused him to be scratched from his rehab game on Saturday. Bader is now doubtful to return from the injured list for the two-game series against the Toronto Blue Jays that starts next Tuesday. The 28-year-old speedster hasn't played since June 26, and the Cardinals are going to make sure he doesn't return to the majors before he's ready. Before landing on the injured list, he was hitting .256/.303/.370 with five home runs, 21 RBI, 35 runs scored and 15 stolen bases in 246 at-bats. His fantasy managers are hoping that his foot injury doesn't interfere with his stolen base output once he returns.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
