2 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals outfielder Harrison Bader (foot) said he's unlikely to return until after next week's All-Star break. Bader is dealing with plantar fasciitis in his right foot, which is bad news for a player that makes his living on his speed. The 28-year-old has resumed a running program, but there just isn't enough time for him to return before the All-Star break. He won't be guaranteed to return right when the second half of the season starts either, as he'll most likely need to go on a minor league rehab assignment first. Bader has hit .256/.303/.370 with five home runs, 21 RBI, 35 runs scored and 15 stolen bases in 72 games this year, and he's worth stashing in most fantasy leagues for his speed.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
