Harrison Bryant Bulked Up Over Offseason
3 years agoCleveland Browns tight end Harrison Bryant reportedly added about 13 pounds over the offseason. After facing off against J.J. Watt last season, the second-year tight end realized that he needed to get stronger in order to effectively block in the NFL. "As a tight end, you're outmatched in a lot of instances," Bryant stated. Bryant caught 24 passes for 238 yards and three touchdowns in 15 games in his rookie season. While he is currently part of a crowded tight-end corps that includes Austin Hooper and David Njoku, Bryant could take on a larger role for Cleveland if he proves to be a more effective blocker. Njoku can be a free-agent after the season, which would also open up more chances for Bryant to produce next year. He is worth a stash in deep, TE-premium dynasty leagues.
