4 years agoThe Cleveland Browns placed eight players on the Reserve/COVID-19 list Tuesday, headlined by tight end Harrison Bryant. Safety Andrew Sendejo was also put on the list. Players do not have to test positive to be placed on the list. The move comes as the team's latest battle with the virus after having to play without their wide receiving corps in Sunday's loss to the Jets. Bryant was integral in the passing game during that contest, seeing a season-high seven targets and 83 percent of the team's offensive snaps. While the Browns will likely have their receivers back for a Week 17 matchup versus the Steelers, the potential loss of Bryant would deal the team a blow at the tight end spot. Bryant has time to be cleared ahead of kickoff if he was a high-risk close contact, but his potential absence would create more opportunities for Austin Hooper and David Njoku.--Jesse Borek
