3 years agoHarrison Burton and his Wood Brothers Racing car surprised a few pundits with a third-place result in Duel 2 on Thursday night. As a result, Burton will start eighth on Sunday afternoon in the Daytona 500. He does have some success in the Xfinity series on the track. Burton finished second there and led at least nine laps in both winter appearances. It is hard to believe the driver is just 21 years old, but he can run well on this track. The wild card involves this. Can his Ford hold up as the race goes along? That will require avoiding being overly enthusiastic.
