6 years agoNashville Predators center Filip Forsberg lit the lamp three times with a plus-one rating on seven shots on net in Saturday's 5-3 home loss against the Edmonton Oilers. Forsberg beat backup Mikko Koskinen on the power play to break the ice for the Preds near the end of the second period. He was at it again with a even-strength marker early in the third, and he added another on the man advantage late in the final period to chop the lead to 4-3. However, the Preds needed some secondary and tertiary scoring that never materialized. He has six career hat tricks, and since the start of the 2014-15 NHL season only Washington's Alex Ovechkin (seven) has more.--Daniel Dobish
