Hayden Hurst Could Make A Big Impact
2 years agoThe Athletic's Paul Dehner Jr. thinks Cincinnati Bengals tight end Hayden Hurst is a deep sleeper that we shouldn't forget about in fantasy drafts this fall. Hurst's signing flew under the radar of the team's offensive line improvements this offseason, and the Bengals think he could end up being one of their most impactful offseason moves. He has a higher ceiling in the passing game than former tight end C.J. Uzomah, with Uzomah's numbers from last year (49 catches, 493 yards, five touchdowns) being the base of expectations for Hurst in 2022. The 28-year-old will be the Bengals top pass-catching tight end, and he'll constantly see single coverage, making him a nice sleeper target as a TE2 in deeper leagues.
