Hayden Hurst Has Strong Day Of Practice Thursday

3 years agoAtlanta Falcons tight end Hayden Hurst put together a strong showing as a receiver during Thursday's practice. ESPN's Michael Rothstein reports that Hurst hauled in several balls, showing off his speed and ability to stretch the field on a couple of deep passes. Talented rookie Kyle Pitts has garnered much of the attention during camp, though the Falcons thought highly enough of Hurst's ability that they traded a second-round pick to acquire him last offseason. The former Raven could be on the field fairly often in head coach Arthur Smith's two-tight end sets- which could result in solid production in a contract year. Hurst makes for a sneaky option in both redraft and DFS formats.--Tim Capurso
