Heath Hembree Picks Up Another Save
3 years agoCincinnati Reds right-hander Heath Hembree fired a scoreless ninth inning to preserve a 4-3 win over the Milwaukee Brewers on Saturday. Hembree struck out one and walked one to pick up the save in the win. The veteran reliever has acclimated himself nicely as the newest Cincinnati closer, picking up five saves in six chances while putting up a 1.69 ERA over six appearances in the month of July. While it is hard to predict what the Reds will do once relievers Tejay Antone and Lucas Sims return from the injured list, fantasy gamers in need of saves and strikeouts need to be adding Hembree off of waivers if he's available.
