Hector Neris Suffers Another Blow Up On Wednesday At Yankees
3 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies relief pitcher Hector Neris allowed three runs in one inning at Yankee Stadium on Wednesday. Two steps forward, three steps back for Neris, who earned a save in his last outing on Sunday. He was less sharp in this one, however, as he allowed a go-ahead single to Giancarlo Stanton before serving up a home run to Rougned Odor that may very well be in orbit right now. Ranger Suarez was unavailable for Neris' save and Suarez pitched well in this game after Neris imploded. Suarez should be considered the closer in Philly with Neris being too unreliable to be rostered in fantasy at the moment.
