7 years agoBoston Red Sox starting pitcher Hector Velazquez pitched five solid innings towards a 10-3 win against the Orioles on Saturday. His night finished with two runs allowed on six hits, striking out five and walking one. The only damage was done by a two-run homer in the fifth by Pedro Alvarez. Despite the two solid starts, Velazquez is not guaranteed another start as Drew Pomeranz is expected to return from the DL this week. He is not worth owning if he is a bullpen arm and a spot-starter.--Ellis Canady - RotoBaller
