Henry Davis Begins Rehabbing
2 years agoPittsburgh Pirates catching prospect Henry Davis (wrist) is rehabbing with the Florida Complex League Pirates after he missed almost a month with a non-displaced fracture of his left wrist. Davis was the No. 1 overall pick in last year's draft and was hitting a strong .333/.454/.598 with a 1.051 OPS, six home runs, 24 RBI, 20 runs scored and five stolen bases in 24 games with High-A Greensboro and Double-A Altoona before his wrist injury. It shouldn't be long before the 22-year-old backstop rejoins Altoona to continue his minor league development. Davis should already be a name that fantasy managers know in dynasty/keeper leagues, and he should rise quickly through Pittsburgh's system.
