7 years agoMilwaukee Brewers utility player Hernan Perez went 3-for-5 with two runs in the 11-10 win over the Colorado Rockies. With the Brewers second baseman situation as unclear as ever, Perez has now started in two consecutive games at the position and has gone 5-for-9 in those games. This small outburst of offense has now bumped his batting average up from .212 to .253 in two games and gives him a May batting average of .429. While Perez has had trouble with the walks as he's only walked twice all year in 77 plate appearances, he could hold fantasy value in deeper formats if he can continue to hit at this pace along with starting at second base.--Caden Inaba
