History Does Not Favor Kyle Larson To Be Good At Daytona
4 years agoHendrick Motorsports newcomer Kyle Larson has not demonstrated many great previous finishes at Daytona and will not change that fact this week. In 13 starts at the Florida track, the driver of the No. 5 Chevrolet has four top-10 finishes and five finishes with positive place differential. Larson has only led laps at Daytona in one start of his career in 2017 and the site has his third-worst Average Finishing Position (22.0) of all tracks in the Cup Series. Larson will start 13th and finished seventh in his Bluegreen Vacations duel race. Although Larson will have strong equipment with Hendrick Motorsports, who have been strong in previous Daytona races, his history and does not favor a great finish this week for him. DFS players should use alternative picks that will provide more upside than Larson.
