4 years agoHolly Holm (14-5) scored in the striking and ground game to take the unanimous decision over rising star in the division, Irene Aldana. Holm scored 154 significant strikes (187 total strikes) and landed five takedowns. Though Holm took all five rounds, Germaine de Randamie fought on the card as well and won in much more spectacular fashion. This will probably leave Holm out of the title picture for now. For the most part, Holm is a solid point fighter who will go the full five rounds for you if she's in the main-event spot. Let's just see how she's matched up next and if it will be a three- or five-round bout.--Matt Bricker - RotoBaller
