5 years agoOakland Athletics starter Homer Bailey allowed two runs on five hits across six innings of work during Thursday's 5-3 win over the Milwaukee Brewers. He struck out five batters while walking three. Bailey has now notched a quality start in three of his first four appearances with the A's, although in the one outlier he surrendered nine runs to the Astros. The 33-year-old owns a 9-7 record on the season to go along with an inflated 5.20 ERA and 1.45 WHIP. Bailey has been a decent stopgap in the A's rotation, and he'll look to keep it up against the Chicago Cubs in his next projected start.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
