3 years agoThe Houston Astros have announced who will get the ball to start games two and three of the World Series against the Atlanta Braves. With Framber Valdez getting the game one nod, the Astros will turn to Jose Urquidy for the second game, followed by Luis Garcia. They each had good seasons on the mound, with Urquidy and Garcia posting a 3.62 ERA and 3.30 ERA, respectively. Urquidy last started game three of the ALCS last Monday against the Boston Red Sox. He only lasted 1.2 innings, giving up five earned runs. Garcia faired much better his last go around during the ALCS clincher on Friday, allowing no runs on one hit while striking out seven over 5.2 IP. It's unclear who will follow with Lance McCullers Jr. (forearm) out, but starter Zack Greinke looks to be the most likely option.--Spencer Seguin - RotoBaller
