5 years agoWashington Nationals infielder Howie Kendrick cracked a grand slam in the 10th inning of the Nationals thrilling 7-3 win over the Dodgers to advance to the NLCS. The Nationals trailed 3-0 for most of the game but battled back, winning their first playoff series since the franchise moved to Washington. The veteran Kendrick was 0-for-4 with two strikeouts before the game-changing blast. It has been a resurgent offensive season for Kendrick and he will try to keep it going into the next round against the Cardinals.--Joey C - RotoBaller
