5 years agoHouston Astros relief pitcher Will Harris replaced starting pitcher Zack Greinke after he gave up a homer to Nationals third baseman Anthony Rendon and a walk to outfielder Juan Soto. Harris followed and designated hitter Howie Kendrick answered with a dinger off the right field foul pole in Game 7 of the World Series on Wednesday. It gave the Nationals a 3-2 lead and they never looked back. At age 36, Kendrick played an integral role in this World Series and the Nationals wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for him. He singled and walked as well in the game, so he was obviously seeing the ball well. It’ll be a fun offseason for Kendrick and the rest of these Nationals.--RotoBaller
