5 years agoWashington Nationals infielder Howie Kendrick figures to factor mightily in the Nationals playoff chances when they play the Dodgers in the NLDS Thursday. Kendrick hasn't played every day but still had a fantastic season so late in his career. Over his last 49 games, Kendrick is slashing .373/.423/.587 with 16 extra-base hits spanning 126 at-bats. He has come up clutch countless times late in games this season and if he can produce in the playoffs, the Nationals could go farther than the organization has ever seen.--Joey C - RotoBaller
