4 years agoKansas City Royals third baseman Hunter Dozier (thumb) is out on Saturday against the Rangers. Dozier is still dealing with swelling on his right thumb after suffering a bruise while swinging on Opening Day. As of right now, the 29-year-old is still considered day-to-day, with the Royals feeling optimistic that he'll be able to return to the lineup soon. Hanser Alberto will get the start at the hot corner and bat eighth against right-hander Kohei Arihara.--Tim Capurso
