7 years agoBaltimore Orioles pitching prospect Hunter Harvey (elbow) will remain shut down for another week before he resumes a throwing program. He underwent an MRI exam on Aug. 22 that didn't show any structural damage. With the tendinitis in his elbow subsiding, he'll be allowed to throw on flat ground. Harvey just hasn't been able to stay healthy and also had Tommy John surgery in 2016. The 23-year-old had a 5.57 ERA and 1.39 WHIP in 32 1/3 innings over nine starts for Double-A Bowie this year. The O's would like to send Harvey to the fall instructional league in order to get more innings. The former first-round pick is the team's No. 8 prospect, but his injury concerns have made him one to avoid in dynasty leagues.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
