4 years agoVeteran outfielder Hunter Pence announced Saturday that he would be hanging up his cleats after a 14-year career. Pence last played with the Giants this season, where he spent eight years and won two World Series titles. A four-time All-Star, Pence finished with nearly 1,800 career hits, a career .334 OBP, and 244 home runs. Having been a fantasy asset as recently as the start of 2020, Pence can now shift onto the waiver wire permanently after a brilliant career that was packed with key hits and clutch moments.--Jesse Borek
