6 years agoTexas Rangers outfielder Hunter Pence went 2-for-5 with a double, a solo home run, two runs scored and two RBI in Sunday's 7-6 road loss against the Los Angeles Angels. At 36 years old, there weren't many believers that Pence would be able to make the roster in spring training, let alone make an impact. However, he is now slashing .309/.356/.650 with a 1.006 OPS, posting 20 extra-base hits, including 11 homers and 35 RBI with just 24 strikeouts in 123 at-bats. Not only is Pence showing he has plenty left in the tank for fantasy owners, he might be flirting with an All-Star Game berth at this point.--Daniel Dobish
