Hunter Pence Expected To Go On Rehab Assignment
5 years agoTexas Rangers outfielder/ designated hitter Hunter Pence (groin) is eligible to come off the 10-day injured list on Thursday. However, he still can't run at full speed and will likely go on a rehab assignment before returning to the club, according to manager Chris Woodward. Pence, who last saw action in a game on June 16, is having an All-Star season, as he is hitting .294 with 15 home runs and 48 RBI along with a .962 OPS. The 36-year-old veteran could be available when the Rangers open a four-game homestand against the Angels on Monday.
