5 years agoSan Diego Padres outfielder Hunter Renfroe is back in the lineup Monday after sitting out the entire weekend series against the Cardinals with an illness. He slides immediately into the cleanup spot as the club takes on Jeff Samardzija and the San Francisco Giants in the series opener. Renfroe is having a tremendous season despite not getting everyday at-bats. He's slashing .248/310/.609 with 24 homers and 45 RBI with most of his production coming in bunches. Renfroe is prone to hot and cold streaks with his tendency to strike out (26.8% K%), but remains a legit power threat and should be rostered everywhere. He's got a good matchup as well this evening as Samardzija is giving up 1.94 HR/9 on the road this season.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
